The King's House - Original Oil Painting

This is a painting of a Samoan Taupou, the warm colours used on the flesh is reminiscent of an evening fire emitting light. The Taupou is traditionally the role of  the daughter of a Samoan High Chief.

Psalms 23:6 was the inspiration for this painting and title. It is the Taupou in the house of her father. The title The King's House, alludes to the daughter or the taupou sitting in the house of the High Chief, symbolic of dwelling in the House of the Lord forever.
